Sylvie Guillem

Principal Guest Artist with the Royal Ballet,
she was born
in Paris in 1965 and studied at Paris Opera Ballet School (1977-80).
She won
the Varna Competition (1983), Carpeaux Prize (1984), Prix
Andersen, Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, Grand Prix National de
la Danse (1988), Pavlova Prize (1989), the Benois prize in Moscow (1994).
She became an etoile of the Paris Opera Ballet
on 29 December 1984 after her first performance of Swan Lake.

Giselle, Nikiya, Gamzatti, Aurora, Cinderella, Odette/Odile,
Juliet, Natalia Petrovna, Raymonda, Manon, Kitri, First and
Second Movements (Symphony in C ), Grand Pas Classique , Herman Schmerman , and In the middle, somewhat elevated .
