Principal Guest Artist with the <a href="Royal.html">Royal Ballet</a>,
she was born
in Paris in 1965 and studied at <a href="POB.html"> Paris Opera Ballet </a> School (1977-80).<dt>
She won
the Varna Competition (1983), Carpeaux Prize (1984), Prix
Andersen, Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, Grand Prix  National de
la Danse (1988), Pavlova Prize (1989), the Benois prize in Moscow (1994).</p>
She became an etoile of the <a href="POB.html"> Paris Opera Ballet </a>
on 29 December 1984 after her first performance of <a href="Swan.html"><strong> Swan Lake</strong></A>.<dt></p>

She premiered Nureyev's <strong> Cinderella </strong>  and <a href="Bejart.html">Béjart</a>'s
<strong> Arepo </strong> in 1986, Forsythe's <a href="Inthe.html"><strong> In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated</strong></a>
and Neumeier's <strong> Magnificat </strong> in 1987, and
<strong> Le Martyre de Saint
Sébastien </strong> (Bob Wilson) in 1988.<dt></p>
Her repertory with the Royal Ballet includes:<dt>
Giselle, Nikiya, Gamzatti, Aurora, Cinderella, Odette/Odile,
Juliet, Natalia Petrovna, Raymonda, Manon, Kitri, First and
