Monique Loudières

Born in 1956.
Studies: Paris Opera Dance School, 1967-1972.
Company: Paris Opera Ballet since 1972, première danseuse in 1981, étoile from 1982 to 1996.
She won the French National Prize for Dance in 1993.
She's married with Hervé Dirmann, "sujet" in the POB, and has two daughters (Daphné and Salomé).

She came back in July 1997 to create Neumeier's Sylvia, in February 1998 to dance Giselle (in the homage to Yvette Chauviré) and in July 1998 to dance L'Histoire de Manon.

She was filmed in:
Cinderella (as a sister, around 1986), Petrouchka (as the Doll, around 1990), Romeo and Juliet (as Juliet, in 1994), and also in two documentaries: Lueurs d'étoile (by Dominique Delouche) and a special program of Musiques au coeur.
